CHOOSE A DATING AGENCY VERY CAREFULLY

london professional  dating agenciesWARNING!   CHOOSE  DATING AGENCIES WITH CARE!  We know of clients paying over £8,000  to join an exclusive introduction agency and receiving  just ONE introduction in 9 months  and when complaining to the matchmaking agency being told  "to be patient".    Most introduction agencies work hard and  are good value for money. They will greatly increase your chances of finding a lifetime partner. Unfortunately, as in a most walks of life, some dating agencies are a scam. With over 24 years experience  as the top dating agency for professionals, our advice is,  only  join an introduction  agency that has been vetted and approved and by the Association of British Introduction Agencies ( ABIA), the official trade body who will  monitor the standards of behavior of  U.K. introduction agencies AND read the membership contract fully before joining.  ABIA  members are obliged to give certain safeguards to their clients.

The association will also investigate on a client’s behalf, serious complaints such as poor service, exaggerated claims and sharp sales practices  The ABIA can put pressure on an agency to make refunds to their clients and can exclude them from the ABIA. In the unlikely event the  dating agency goes out of business, other ABIA introduction agencies will at no further cost to you, continue to provide a service to you.

  If you join a non ABIA approved introduction  agency and get a poor service then you are on your own.

If  you believe you’ve had a poor service from an ABIA approved introduction agency, then you can raise a formal complaint with the ABIA and they will investigate the complaint without charge, on your behalf. If you join a good introduction agency  it  will significantly increase your chances of meeting  someone nice enough to be your lifetime partner.

TIPS: 1. Before joining any introduction agency ask the agency to put in writing how many introductions you should  receive in 1 year AND the MINIMUM number you will receive, or have the right to a full or partial refund. If you don't, we know of some clients who have had less than 2 dates in a whole year against a guaranteed 8,  then your membership is extended until you receive the minimum and that can take  many years – if you don’t die first!. Indeed one non ABIA agency’s contract stated that  it will provide at least ONE introduction within SIX MONTHS for your £12,000 fee ?? ( even if you refuse to meet that was it!).

Remember verbal claims have no value get it in writing 

2. Never join the first dating agency you contact, talk to at least three dating agencies before deciding which one is best for you.3. Always ask the PRICE they charge BEFORE attending an interview. Ask for a copy of their contract to read BEFORE attending an interview - AND READ IT.  If the first time you see a contract is at the interview there is no sensible reason why you have to sign it there and then, think it over, at least overnight, especially if it has high fees.  If there is outrageous clause on the contract such as you are "not allowed to tell anyone if the service is bad", or you are "guaranteed just one introduction in 6 months" ( and some do not even guarantee that!) there is a reason why it is on the contract and if you do sign it you must be stupid!. If they make some excuse why a restrictive clause is on the contract ask them to cross it out and BOTH of you sign the crossed out clause. If you sign, then change your mind the next day some agencies will charge you well over £1000. You have been told – NEVER  SIGN until you have thoroughly read the conditions, take it home overnight. Choosing a good agency will make a huge difference to your chances of finding a partner. There is no "best agency", different dating agencies specialise  to provide a niche market product.  If you do not need  a high level unattached  professional as a partner there is no point joining a top  exclusive introduction agency, they will not have your sort of people and they will be very expensive, on the other hand if you are looking for a high quality professional introductions, it is of little  use joining a local agency, as they will have at best, a handful of  unattached professionals. You would be advised to choose a good London Professional dating agency and be prepared to travel.

Introduction agencies specialising in professional introductions  are always expensive to join. if  a bank counter clerk or really nice sales assistant  could be your partner, you do not need to join a  bespoke introduction agency, a local dating agency would probably provide  a  far better service than a top London dating agency could and at 25% of the price.
